We’re kicking things off with one of our most beloved outfits from the series, Emily’s black and white checked suit, and red beret! We adore how the red offsets the monochrome two-piece and vice versa. Additionally, it’s a look that’s incredibly chic whilst still exuding tons of personality.

The Suit…
Start by getting your hands on a black and white suit such as Asos Design’s gorgeous dogtooth suit. Emily’s actual Veronica Beard suit may be sold out but this similarly outstanding black and white outfit is super gorgeous and an absolute steal in terms of its price tag. Additionally, it’ll look just as stunning with red accessories as it will with countless other colors in your closet. We adore versatile pieces we can wear on repeat!
The Hat…
To complete the look, we can’t forget that iconic beret. Be sure to add this to your look for a pop of color. One of the best we’ve come across is Anthropologies Simone Beret in red. Style this with your hair gently curled and be sure to tilt it like Emily’s!
